Seattle police shot and killed the fugitive suspected of gunning down four officers in a suburban coffee shop, a sheriff’s spokesman said Tuesday. Maurice Clemmons was shot to death after a “very alert patrol officer” tracked down a stolen vehicle linked to him, Ed Troyer, a spokesman for the Pierce County sheriff, told Fox News. Forza Coffee Opens at Fisher Plaza...Forza Coffee Company made its debut in Seattle on Saturday as they opened their new location at Fisher Plaza. The shop opened at 8:14 am, the exact time that four Lakewood police officers were killed in a Forza location outside of Tacoma. This is the first new location for Forza since the shooting, and they honored the four Lakewood officers and Seattle police officer Timothy Brenton in a ceremony before it officially opened. Seattle police officers were the first customers after it opened. The Tacoma-based company has locations throughout Pierce County, south King County and in Spokane. They will also be opening in the U-District soon. (February 27, 2010)
