A 19-year-old Saudi Arabian man dressed as a pilot and was reportedly arrested Tuesday after he illegally entered a restricted area in the main airport in the Philippines. “He was able to elude our security by misrepresenting himself as a pilot of Saudia,” said airport general manager Alfonso Cusi, referring to the Saudi Arabian flag carrier. Private Security, Airport Security...A dozen paparazzi trailed Lindsay Lohan from outside her home to LAX this evening, as she and little sister Ali are off to New York to spend some quality time with their mother, as well as visit their brother Michael in college. Upon exiting their car at airport curbside, the Lohan sisters were beseiged with the zealous photographers, requiring some intervention from Lindsay's personal security. Yemen ramps up airport security...Yemen is stepping up security measures at the Sanaa international airport, after the al-Qaeda in Arabic Peninsula threatened more attacks on American targets. The country had also come under criticism after a Nigerian allegedly attempted to blow up a US airliner on Christmas Day after it was revealed that the suspect had undergone training in Yemen. In a country where carrying weapons or daggers is a tradition, security guards at airports are taking no chances. Brand-new state of the art equipment - including advanced screening machines and a device capable of detecting various explosives - have been installed and travellers are being thoroughly searched.
